Jamie’s Management Stack
This section outlines my three-step management framework. By focusing on the fundamentals—Step 1, Step 2, and Step 3—I have found that organizations are able to create alignment, build momentum, and achieve results more quickly and effectively.
Step One: Start Them the Right Way
Success begins on day one. Every new employee, team member, board member, or leader should be onboarded with the same expectations, mindset, and standards we want the organization to embody years into the future. The culture, attitudes, behaviors, and philosophy that define long-term success should be established immediately so people operate from the beginning as the organization intends to grow and evolve over the next five years.
Step Two: Build the People
Organizations grow when people grow. Building the organization means investing in the development of employees, leaders, and teams through training, mentorship, accountability, and shared purpose. Strong systems are important, but long-term success comes from building capable people who can lead, make decisions, solve problems, and carry the organization forward. By developing people first, the organization creates a culture that can scale, adapt, and sustain growth over time.
Third: Focus on the Systems and Processes
Strong organizations are built on strong systems. Once the right people are in place, the focus shifts to creating processes, procedures, automation, and operational structures that allow the organization to perform consistently and scale effectively. Systems remove uncertainty, improve accountability, reduce inefficiencies, and create repeatable success. When people and processes work together, the organization can grow without losing quality, culture, or execution.
